BNAM Instrumental

My friends!

I’ve just released an instrumental version of Between Night and Morning. You can check it out on all streaming platforms and/or buy it on Bandcamp for eight bucks.

I spend quite a bit of time on the production side of my work, so it’s neat to give you the opportunity to dig a little deeper into the tracks without any pesky singing getting in the way. These productions in particular blend analog and digital worlds with a balance I haven’t properly struck before.

Once the instrumental tracks are built out and mixed, I typically listen to them in sequence while pacing around my backyard - there’s the suggestion of a nice little worn path around the perimeter - and if it feels like a story’s being told sonically at that point, I feel confident adding vocals. It seems like a no-brainer to share with you all how I first fall in love with a project.

And you can head over to trevorlarkin.com if you’d like to spend more time with the EP(s) and prints.

Let me know what you think!
